I am getting all my parts gathered for my Monte Carlo engine and suspension upgrades.I was going to use an Olds 350 but decided to rebuild a Chevy 350 I had laying around.I have a good th350 longshaft on hand the question I have is it the same length as a 700r4 wondering because I would like to...
Most people I know just drop in a 350 Olds all the brackets and everything
Match up nice easy swap get it running again quick I've seen it done by about 6 people I know over the years 68-76 have stronger blocks 77-80 they cheapend up the bottom ends.

D0 not worry I'm going on Sat to look at a 1981 with a straight 6 the truck that had that engine is out of the picture, the owner wants more than the truck is worth. Thanks
The pad on the right front of the block in front of the head has helped me determine the engine on other ones but this one is weird ,can't tell the year of the engine just know it's a small block 1985 or older style.Motor is in a 1976 Chevy pickup.
