Figure since OEM stuff is getting harder to find... ever think about going with a reputable aftermarket place that offer polyeurothane/graphite instead of the plain rubber that should be more of a tailored fit than guessing with the original stuff?

If someone spends $450k and is 90% done... might as well finish it. With 40 bids and $81k max bids, and of course the listing has ended along with reserve not met.... might as well sell it someone with much deeper pockets on the outside because ebay users will want it for cheap.

I can atest to that... bought a carter brand stock type replacement pump once for a typical SBC for my ZZ4 engine, that pump was pegging the needle (15psi max) on the mr gasket fuel pressure guage. After a couple of months, the guage itself started leaking, it was a gonner, but my holley 670 SA...

Im sure the way i've put my fuel filter above the front of the intake for now looks unfavorable to some, but i plan on fixing that. When i get the chance, i plan on installing the filter just after the ouput of the mechanical fuel pump so it runs vertically along the front of the engine block...

Changed it out earlier, mr gasket clearview to wix metal can filter. I took the cleaview apart, the rubber seal looked fine, it was pinched or not sitting correctly in the outlet side end cap, both inlet and outlet side as a matter a fact, other than that, it was snugged together tightly, about...

I went ahead and bought the metal can filter(wix 33033) and will install it this weekend... figure i'll take apart the mr gasket clearview filter, clean it up, replace the filter and give it another go, either the ethenal ate up the 0-ring or maybe the ends just needed tightening, i'll keep it...
