7 Qrt Oil pan with Edelbrock Smog legal headers

No everything is the same. I can take a picture of the 400 pan to show you what the profiling is if you want. The only time you would need a different sump is if the stock pan was changed to aftermarket they all have there "own" sumps that go with the pan. Same oil pump just different pick up...

7 Qrt Oil pan with Edelbrock Smog legal headers

Yes and no. 305, 350, & 400 all use the same bolt pattern rear mains pending. However with the 400 the top of the pans are profiled for the large throw of the 400 crank. Ir you where to look at a 305/350 pan the sides near the top of the bolt flange are smooth. Now if you where to look at...

7 Qrt Oil pan with Edelbrock Smog legal headers

There are 2 reasons for this. First he has to and so do I when you stroke a 350 to a 383 it uses the 400 crank so you need to have the oil pan profiled for it. Some choose to profile it themselves with a BFH and others choose to get a 400 oil pan. The other thing is we are going with a high...

7 Qrt Oil pan with Edelbrock Smog legal headers

The heads are stock 882 heads so nothing changed. I did a little searching into it and F-body require special oil pans. I haven't found anything special for the G body except for one oil pan which listed it as a G-body with X pipe. So if no one has worked with this on the G body I may end...

7 Qrt Oil pan with Edelbrock Smog legal headers

I have the cat hollowed out and using it to equalize the two sides. In PA they have started the emissions and the local guy said to keep it as factory looking as possible. I have the torque tech 3" system.

7 Qrt Oil pan with Edelbrock Smog legal headers

I ran into a problem last night working on my friends 91 Camaro RS w/ TBI. We had swapped out the 305 and put in a 350/383 stroker motor with a 7 qrt Moroso oil pan and he also has the smog legal Edelbrock headers. The pipe that goes from the driver side header crosses over to the passanger...

TPI in a Monte Carlo SS

The 85-86 TPI will work. The 2 bolts did not change on those until the 87 to 88 model. They all used the 9th injector. 89 will also work but they did away with the 9th injector but all those years used MAF. If you do away with the 9th injector use the 89 set up but you will have to do away...

TPI in a Monte Carlo SS

The 85-89 has the MAF 90-92 has the speed density. 85-88 has the 9th injector 89 eliminated it but kept the MAF. The 9th injector can be deleted in all the years you just need to have the chip programmed for it. 89 started with the VATS so if you go with one of those computers/chips you need...

    4.3 fuel pump wirirng

First a couple of questions. Are you putting the carb on a vehicle that currently has the 4.3 or are you putting one in a car that had the 305/350 in it. Are you using any type of computer? The fuel regulator what is its adjustable range? Are you using the 4.3 fuel pump?

TPI in a Monte Carlo SS

The latest I dropped my 350 bolt that I had but some years back off at the machine shop 2 weeks ago and Tuesday received a call telling me it was a junk motor that there was a 3 inch crack down the lifter body. Time to start searching the classifieds-----found a person that said they had a 4...
