*LAST UPDATE* Well it turns out the whole f'up was from the fact that Rockauto sent me a brake booster that was NOT compatible with a 1980 Malibu. I sent the rockauto piece back, and picked up a booster from O'Reilly and boom, got brakes. What a pain in the *ss. basically did 2 brake booster...

***UPDATE*** i pulled it all apart inspected the master cylinder. Nothing odd with it, the dimpled plate at the rear was in the correct position. next I removed the the Booster. This time I measured the thing in every way I could and There was no visible differences between the old and the new...

The New booster came with a pin installed. Im sure of that cuz I measured and referenced it to the old booster pin. Might be the Master cylinder since its the one that has been on the car for years.

Well we might be getting somewhere. I have an aluminum master cylinder but it seems straight bore. I have to take a closer look on that. I read that the early master will fit on early AND late booster. But not the other way around. ( later master wont fit the early booster) I bought a early...

I did the master cylinder bleeding on the bench. Its got me pissed forvsure. There IS a difference in 79-80 boosters and 81-86 boosters. They have different part numbers. Same goes for the master cylinders. Got to dig in this weekend. Thanks

All the gbodys I ve seen the brake rod and booster pin are NON-adjustable.

I basically just changed the booster. Maybe Its the wrong one. Maybe its the correct booster but its defective. Ill keep at it. This comming weekend I will have to pull it back apart and take a CLOSE look.

The upright area was a little tricky. The CRL product fits but not like oem. I just made the whole run in one piece. It took a little trimming in the 90* turn to make it lay flat. Today I decided to put my door panel back on without gluing the channels . They are holding fine for now. Actually...

UPDATE on window channel.. I contacted CRL laurnce . First I asked them how to obtain an account. They replied with some login details and I ordered the window channel linning listed above in this thread. They are much longer than needed and not formed for the corners in the wagon window frame...
