I have a Q-Jet from Sean Murphy Induction, worked great with very little adjustment right out of the box.. It was on my 403 Olds that ran in the low 12s on motor only.
Before I retired I ran a sign shop and UV damage was a concern. We used a product called frog juice and I was pleased with the look and performance of this stuff. I used it on signs and vehicle graphics and I think it would be worth a try. Here is a link...

I had a 200-4R in my Cutlass with a 403. The 403 was around 430 ft lb and 400 hp and I used a 150 shot of nitrous. Here is a link to an article about building the 200-4R.
