Unless they changed it back again you don't need pictures or any of that other nonsense anymore. I didn't even need to have specific collector car insurance when I did my cars. Just standard liability insurance.
I honestly can't believe that anyone even uses those glass filters anymore. Not to mention that they shouldn't even make them or be legal to use. The only thing they are good for is setting your car on fire. They just screw together and have no way of locking tightly and since its glass you...
Kind of a dumb question but , did you remove or replace the paper fuel filter in the carb?
Also have you checked the spark plugs? I have seen bad plugs act like a fuel starvation issue under heavy load but run fine at idle or light throttle.
Have you checked the hard fuel lines for leaks...
Yup that's it. There used to be a ton of pictures to demonstrate the process but I think the site has had multiple crashes over the years that unfortunately broke the links to many of the pictures.
The one I was referring to was analog. There may be a digital swap too but the one I remember reading was an analog version about 15 years ago. Like this .
There used to be a good step by step write up of using a 90's lesabre cluster on turbobuick.com not sure if its still there or not. Used the existing buick dash and actually looked pretty good imo.
Don't know if it can be done using the regal dash without extensive modifications or hackery. Pretty easy if you use the cutlass dashboard and have the plug ends for the cutlass cluster, headlight switch ect. The regal harness can be used by having access to the olds and buick wiring diagrams...
Can't wait to hear what it sounds like. Should be pretty lumpy at idle. My brother has a [email protected] cam in the 350 in his chevelle and that has a really rowdy idle, though that's on a108* and not the 112 or 114 yours is.
My 80 cutlass has painted 15" SSII wheels on it. Probably came from a 73-77 Abody. They have been on the car since the late 90's that was back when you couldn't give those wheels away for free most of the time.
I agree I wouldn't sandblast and paint an original set of chrome ones.
Just a thought, but if the glue doesn't work out I wonder if you could use a soldering gun to "plastic weld" it back together? In theory it should make it easier to melt and bond the plastic back together in a controlled manner.
FWIW you can still get new copper brass rads from summit in their own brand.
I used one of the A body ones in my 71 lemans. It would have cost me $650-$700 about 3 years ago to have my original 2 core rad recored at a local shop. I got a 3 core summit brand one for half that. Fit just like the...
Not cheap but probably as good as one can get these days especially for a DIY setup.

When I converted to 4 wheel disc on my GP I used a factory disc/disc valve from like an 84ish eldorado. Hooked right up like the original from what I recall.
Mark, yes holley's are quite different from a q jet but most people will tell you they are much simpler to rebuild than a q jet.
Now truth be told I don't mess with holley's all that much or carter/edlebrocks either I have always preferred a good q jet and have always had very good luck with...
I may be missing something here but since you recovered the old carb and it used to run great with it, why not rebuild that and put it back on?
The 3310 seems to be THE standard go to performance carb or at least it was for a long time. My brother has a 3310 on his 69 chevelle and it runs...
Mark, that is a very old school way of doing it., and yes it does work or at least gets you damn close to where you want to be. I remember when I was a teenager and just learning about cars that was one trick my dad taught me. He explained it was a good way to at least get you in the ballpark...
