Welcome to the Forum that's a sweet M.C you got there i was planning on getting an SS to but didn't find a all original here in Dallas, I had to drive all the way to Tennessee to get my 1986 442 TTop.
So basically you just made the hinge tighter and shorter to make less tension and another question can I take it off while my hood is raised up with out falling down and what did you used to make it to less tension?
Hey guys im still having trouble figuring out to make my hood sit flush I email VFN and they said to take off my hinges but I have no idea how to and scare i will make it worse and if it don't work what else can I do and other solutions. Has any body bought one and had similar problems?
I have almost the same problem I just got my W-30 Hood from VFN and switch the Hoods in my 442 fit pretty good but had to move the latch that close the hood but in the middle of the hood it's raise bout 1/2 inch does any body purchase this same hood from VFN and had to adjust it to fit perfect.
I did i took it off and clean it good it had little rust and residue but didn't seem that was the problem my hazards work just no turn signals.
Can I just add a flasher relay maybe it need it's own flasher relay?
