Does anyone know or have a part number on a set of valve covers that will clear roller rockers and not hit the heater core box an ‘85 442. I’m getting ready to do a motor swap and the motor has tall Rocket Racing aluminum valve covers and I’m afraid they’re not going to clear without modifying...

I have an ‘85 442 that has lightning rods in it. Has anyone ever put a different transmission other than the 200-4r behind an Oldsmobile motor with lightning rods.

I have a 1985 442 Salon and when I run my A/C it only comes out the floor and defrost. I'm guessing there is a vacuum line off or leaking. How can I trouble shoot this problem.

I had some interior pieces painted and hydro dipped to match the color of my 442

I am wanting to take the balls of my lightning rod shifters to have then refurbished. I can't get the center one off. When I try to unscrew the button to get the ball off....the cable tries to twist also. Does anyone know what I can do to get this apart?

Ok....i need a little help. I recently received my carburetor I order from SMI for my '85 442. The question I have is that it has an electronic choke but there is no plug on the side of it to plug my 12V power source into. The carburetor I took off did. Does anyone know how the choke will work...
