That's the way I have it marked. That puts the bracket at the very back of the console (where it is spot welded to the floor is just behind the end of the console). I have a picture somewhere of the brackets before I removed them that I'll try to dig out tonight.

I should have marked this better than I did but that is correct, the measurement is to the screw holes that the console mounts to (top holes in the attached picture). I pulled out my console and shifter to verify this. The measurements to the other brackets are to the holes that the shifter...

I have 3 plastic retainers (?) taken from an 84 Cutlass that I stripped and I don't remember what they are for. Can anyone help identify? They have some overspray on them from a colour change to the car so I expect they were holding some exterior trim or panel (maybe between trunk and back window?).

Just came across your rendering and for what it's worth like the version with the stock hood (modified) but with the 17 inch wheels from the top version. Also like that you're keeping the chrome trim around the wheel wells and rockers. Who did your rendering? Peter
