When people say use a 496 up to 520 cam is that the valve lift number? I called mondello and asked what cam to use for my ported c heads and they said i could use up to a 520 cam and be good and the guy that i got the heads from said he used a 496 cam. This is the cam I was looking at...
Anybody use one with a 455 in a cutlass. Was curious how well it would work with tall valve covers. I cut my ac box for right now but ended up cutting the heater core so its bypassed for right now. Pics of them would be nice too.
I called mondello and was telling them i had ported c heads and the guy that had them said he was using a 496 cam that ran like a beast and he said he would probably go for something like 518 or 520 just curious to what other people have used and what their results were.

Has anybody used those aluminum heads they have on ebay? They said they are comparable to edelbrock heads but at a cheaper price. just curious if anybody has gave them a shot and tryed them out?
Was just curious of how hard it is to make your own console. Id like to making something cool for my cutlass thats different than the consoles everybody has. I have an idea in my head that ive thought about for a couple years now just not sure how to go about it.

Havent paid to much attention to how my frame looks since i havent been able to do what I want with it yet but it says its a gbody frame. I know the rear section is cutsom but what about the rest of it? looks like a really nice frame set up
Is it possible to do a frame notch without having a cage in the car? I talked to a hotrod shop today and they said its almost impossible to do it without a cage cause it wont have enough bracing and support without the cage. Just wondering if anybody has done it without one and not had any problems.
Will a 15x10 inch wide rim fit on an 85 cutlass without rubing if I use a smaller tire till I get my frame notched? Id rather not have to buy rims twice but need some so i can atleast put a decent size tire on for now till I can afford the frame notch.

Is there a radiator or radiator fan combo preferaby that is comparable to be cool and their set up? The be cool set up i looked at was rated up to 700hp and i was curious about finding something that will do the same or better.
