Different tastes for different strokes I guess....I'm looking to do t-tops AND a vinyl roof. lol I'm gonna make sure to keep body flex at a minimum. Seems like that's a common problem for these cars. I hear more about it with the gbodys than I do with my unibody stang.
lol Seems like those that don't have them want and the ones with them don't care for them! My dream car has always been a t-top gbody (sad huh? lol) So by god this car will have them. Squeaks and rattles are perfectly ok with me....leaking will cause issues though. But I'll figure a way to...
I just did the same to my 84 Calais...love it! Best damn upgrade i've done yet!

Finally got around to finishing the other half of the top. Also picked up a set of near perfect all clear backup lights from the JY. Mine were all cracked and just plain crap. Hate the reflector. Looks a million times better now I think. Wish I had t-top roof though.... :(
Finished up cleaning up some of the extra wires left over under the hood. Hooked factory rally tach back up and did some minor underhood cleaning. Don't know why but it feels like the trans. is starting to go on it....so may start gathering parts for a T-5 swap.
Yep...I'm sure all u ft. Wayne guys have seen that stang once in a while. Don't see many gbodys around that area driving around at night. Kinda sad. Hopefully I'll get my cutlass up there sometime soon. Gotta post pix of my neighbors ride...not my style but still clean. Minus the huge...
Yeah the bondo is really just temporary. I know 100% damn good and well that the rust will continue but I had to get the top off there. I do believe it was regal trim also. The roof only has to stay hole free till this winter, then come hell and/or high water it's gettin a T-Top roof. Which...
When I bought this car I was told this top was fairly new. While inspecting the car I noticed several rust spot under the paint around the chrome trim. After a lil while of searching for the top and side trim pieces I noticed a new hole in the roof. So after some deliberation I figured I'd...
Whoever had the engine apart before me decided that the bolt on the alternator bracket closest to the head need two thick washers but tightened the top bolt with no washer. The bracket was practically flexing! I also retightened the belt and made sure it was running even with the front of the...
