This is exactly what I want to get next year for the SS. How does it get wired up? Does it come with senders and such? Half my intruments aren't workable so I have aftermarket guages under the dash.
Both of those look great, don't know which one I'll go for yet.
Wow, that bezel with the guages really looks great!! I am loving this project, I want to put new guages in my SS in the spring, but I want to do digitals.
I work in a chemical company and I can tell you that the exact same fluid goes into each product....ATF and PS fluid.
As I said above, the only difference is in the additive package.
Favorite domestic beer is Yuengling Lager, brewed right here in Pennsylvania.
Favorite import would be Stella Artois.
But in summertime, if it's cold, I'll drink it!!! :)
Here's what I could find. If you go to the bottom of the page, it shows your CMJ engine stamping.
Shows a 1974 350 CI engine in a full size car, hooked up to a TH400

Re: November G-body of the month! (Monte Carlos)
Here's my 86 Monte SS. Has a rebuilt Goodwrench 350 4-bolt main block. Also has an Edelbrock carb w/polished intake, Vortec heads, mild Jegs street cam, Flowtech headers with true duals. transmission is a TH350 with a shift kit for crisper shifts...
I have an 86 Monte SS also and installed Flowtechs on it earlier this spring. Both sides went in from the bottom, just had to take off the oil filter and the starter.
I am running true 2.5" duals behind them and not using a double hump crossmember. The drivers side is a hair lower than the...
Here's a couple of pics that I took Sunday morning of my Monte at rest. I just put the Cragars and wheels on, love the old school look. What do you think?
You can identify them by the sawtooth casting marks on the front of the heads as well.
The old camelhump heads were also 64cc chambers I believe, damn good heads, but most of them didn't have the accesory holes in them.
It's the starter. What happens is this: There's a set of brushes inside that hang up when they get old, thus no contact.
Give the starter a whack with a BFH and the brushes will drop down and it should turn over.
R&R the starter.
I have been following your projuct, it's impressive how nice it is coming along. Did you consider using High Heat Bleack header paint instead of black wrap?
I really like how the radio/cd player looks in there also....great idea!
I have an '86 SS that I have been working on as well, seeing...
