    Hurst Olds Lightning Rods

Nate Shelton is the chairman at B&M. B&M owns (product manages if I may) Hurst division. All companies are now owned by Driven Performance Brands. Brian is working with the top dog, The Scott you refer to probably doesn't even communicate with Nate or have a lead on what is going on behind the...

    Hurst Olds Lightning Rods

Hurst is not owned by Hurst. Licensing would be going through the parent company Driven brands. It's at a way higher level than just calling up a person to get information. It doesn't work like that. Just shut down the thread and then when they become available the proof will be in the...

    Saying goodbye to Gbody forum

Guys. I started my first post about 5 years ago on this forum when I got possession of my 81 Cutlass Supreme. Back then I didn't know that a 3.8v6 in an Olds was actually a Buick motor! I guess what I am saying is I have learned a tremendous amount of knowledge from the forum and the members...

    hydro-boost suggestions

I vote for having a HB setup from the Gbody with a reman unit from Cardone. I have a Jones racing pump, all coverted AN lines, PSC 32 oz res and this thing has the best brakes I have ever felt. Push on the pedal 1/2"...brakes apply and they apply now. Most of us with turbo applications like...

    81 Oldsmopile ( G-body rust repair )

I know you have created alot of your own metal and kidos for that. Just letting you know that there is ALOT of metal in the aftermarket that is not junk which I helped to create. You may like doing so but it can be time consuming if time is money to you. Your build brings back memories of all...

    Colorado Craigslist Find

I know Nick McCale personally and anything he touches with engines is perfect and will do what he said it would do. TO answer the questions on what type of change it takes to make these engines run...yes.,..it is a chunk. However, once you experience it you will look at small blocks in a...

Times are changin according to cost of G's locally

I pulled up to a party in a cul de sac in our neighborhood a couple weeks back in my Grand National. All these kids come up to it ranging in age from 6-15. One kid says...." WOW!!! is this some back to the future car?" I replied no it's a Buick. He replies....I sh*t you not....just like the...

    Hot air turbo questions

turbo is not spooling, exhaust leak perhaps. There is so much to look for that this is the most obvious of many things to check. If the turbine doesn't spin, the compressor cannot compress and make boost. Check vacuum lines also.
