81 Cutlass resto..

Hi all Thought i should share some pics on my ongoing resto of my 81 Cutlass..
Started yesterday by grinding down a hell of a lot of bondo & fiberglass on the roof of my car, to se if the suunroof still was there :shock: And yes it was and it was rustfree to So next step is to get it out an shange the seal around and se if something is missing, and get it to work as it was when the car was new

I found some minor rust where there once was vinylroof, but not as bad as i thougt.. Puhh..

so if enyone know where i can get the seal to the sunroof, pleas let me know

Moore pics will come as i progress on the resto. When the fall comes the car wil be pulled apart an all rust and dings will be removed. the frame will be blasted an repainted..

Some updates on the cutty

The old 260 engine is going out tomorow, and the engine bay is being painted and freshed up
Then the 350 will be put in. headers on and ministarter, 3" xflow dual exhaust with two cherrybombs.

Then the car will be stripped for exterior and painted Hugger Orange with black trim..

The B&M megashifter is in place

New Wheels 8x15 with 255/60 att the rear, and 235/60 in front..

The new 350 going in.. It was a tight fit when the headers came on, but what a sound New mini starter had to be ordred to fit the headers..
