I agree, I did get them on sale at summit for a couple hundred cheaper than on ARH's site. Local shop wants 450-475 to Cerakote C-series, has a warranty but that's crazy since it's air-cure and only costs 80 bucks for the needed amount. I'll probably just hold off and clean them up once in awhile

I've got a set of ARH's being made right now, expecting delivery in a couple weeks. So I know the benefits of coating headers, but is it 100% necessary with SS? I think the biggest hurdle is finding someone to do it local, researching DYI methods now including Cerakote.

If you want to stay on the cheaper side and not spend a couple grand on a 9 inch or 8.5 just put in a quality center chunk. I run an Auburn posi and 3.42 gears, diff cover with bearing cap support, stock axles, and fat tires that slip just enough to not break sh*t.... and that behind a 500+hp...

Thanks. The led summit gauges, they looked like some thing that belonged in a billet hot rod. The guages I put in have that clean factory look but have all the cool features like 60 foot, 1/4 mile times, top rpm recall, etc

I got it out a few times thru the winter and spring of 2021 but the temp gauge not dropping had me really annoyed, still running 195+ as the ambient air temps got higher (90+ by end of march in FL). Temp on the gauge didn't match what I was getting in different locations on hoses and radiator...

Of course nothing is ever finished and the bright asss led gauges weren't fitting the look of the car , and they blinded the sh*t out of me at night. So I slid in a set that had a better factory modified appearance.

A buddy suggested this idea for how to suck both the fumes and overspray out, I also had a shopvac with an old sock over it while spraying to catch a majority of the overspray
