Ok well time has come to order the seals for my 87 442 t-top. I’ve tried to find OEM seals but that’s a quest right next to the holy grail.
I’ve also tried to find info here about the good and bad of what everyone has had to deal with and in the end the question is what seals does everyone recommend knowing that they are not as good as original? Thanks for all input in advance.

Ordered a set of the door seals today to check out. Should have them in a couple days and I can report back on these.

Ok so I my door seals for my 87 442 today from steel rubber.. they seem to be just as soft as the stock ones I had although I don’t believe they are as thick.. just a little thinner. Also they don’t have a core in the ends and they will fold right over. I don’t believe anyone molds around a core like OEM did. For what it’s worth I will show pictures of the ones I took off and the new. At this point I’m not dissatisfied because I don’t have them on the car yet to form that conclusion. More to come.
