Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all are enjoying the holidays with friends and family.

What do these orange and white wires in the rear quarter window area power?

The orange is usually the courtesy interior lights fused circuit, always hot. The white wire is for the pin switches in the door jambs that will ground that wire when doors are open to light the courtesy lamps.

seat belt receiver torx bolt hole location and torn seat belt replacement

The "slack" feature is for comfort while driving so you don't have the belt rubbing your neck. You activate it with a quick tug on the belt after it's latched. The "locking" function is for forward inertial impacts that will prevent your upper body from jettisoning forward into or through the...

They're part way up the side of the trans/driveshaft tunnel. From the pic 86LK posted, here they are circled in red.

Should be Torx 500 bit iirc, it's same nominal size as T50 but the splines are thicker. I think SnapOn used to sell it under FTX500?

    87 Cutlass Salon newbie

Wow, gorgeous ride!! I remember making the decision on mine to not have the pinstripe painted back on, but yours reminds me how nice it looked originally; especially without the factory body side moldings. How'd I miss this post, lol ?? Great community here, many super knowledgeable guys in...

CUTLASS I thinks wiring is my problem

Zooming in, the wire is actually marked type THHN which is definitely not original to the car. That is commercial electric solid/stranded wire typically used inside electrical conduit runs so you're gonna have to manually trace it out to where it starts and where it's connected.

CUTLASS I thinks wiring is my problem

Are you talking about the green wire your touching with your finger? It doesn't look like an original stock wire, did you follow it to where it ends under hood, or under the dash where it comes through firewall? That would be my advice as it looks from the pic like a wire someone added, same...

Get Your Upper A-Arm Bolts While They Got 'Em GM #461854

I think I saw in the parts manual they're spec'ced out as GRADE 10? For a nut, that's pretty high grade strength right?

Get Your Upper A-Arm Bolts While They Got 'Em GM #461854

Nice, good advice and a great heads up for anyone doing a factory restoration! I actually replaced these (with the GM OEM) all on mine when I did the QA1 suspension upgrades, only thing that sucks is you're not getting the upper arm in/out with exhaust headers in place. If I recall, we...

    Looking for new Engine Harness

It's still basically all weatherpack and metripack style connectors, so sourcing them with terminals or as pigtails should be pretty easy.
