working on tracking down some odds and ends that are missing, broken, or in bad shape and I'm having trouble finding just the hood release handle itself. Anyone know of anywhere that sells em? Or maybe have an extra one laying around?
For some reason I'm having trouble tracking one down for the ol 4 barrel quadrajet. Any of you more mechanical cats tell me where to find one or the kit?
anyone with a malibu know where i can find one of these suckers other than an ancient boneyard? Finally made myself devote some time to the dash but i still got that great big gaping hole staring back at me. For some reason the side vents are everywhere but the one i need eludes me...
I am notoriously cheap, so ive put it off for a great many year but my wife now says i need a new grille. GREEN LIGHT!
Always thought id go with honest charley when i finally pulled the trigger, but now i see one on rock auto for about half the cost. ive bought stuff from them before...

the nice, pre drilled, factory bolt holes for the radio and heater control plate snapped like a twig, or brittle 35 year old plastic today. not really sure what the hell to do now. anyone else have this problem and got some super awesome looking setup to hide it? :blam:

anyone know of one? most all of them i find are 3 in tall, dropped would probably be better but im just hoping to find something shorter, think i need the space for a carb spacer.
well, tried a couple of things. replaced the crusty old gas cap and wrapped the line from the pump to the carb in foil, with a couple corks banded to it for good measure. New vented cap seems to help the pressure build up, but i guess i wont know for sure until it gets alot warmer here :?
