Does any one have a 80's monte carlo shell they want to get rid of. Me and my buddy just got hold of a complete ls1 out of a trans am. we were thinkin gof puting it in a s10 but were we live that kinda the new thing theres prob 20 around here. any place close to illinois would be nice.

Does ne one have good experience with hooking up gauges and know what heor she is doing. It a 87 el camino. does ne one have the wiring diagram or something off of alldata for the gauges. thanks

Ur not joking about tweaking but i got it and it RUNS AMAZING thanks to every one just got a lil bug in timing and ill figure it out hopefully .

The hei distributer is brand new but i havent touched any of the advances on it mechanical or vacuum and ill will try the vacuum gauge that one thing i havent done yet.

I just put the stock calibration on it and the lowest springs, and there was a little bit better response nothing good at all tho. But if i were to put in in low and manual shift the gears it runs great. i have the linkage hooked up for the trans could there be a problem maybe there with the 200r4.

It was having problems long before i put the headers on i had to change my oil 4 times bc of it. Ill have to check the boosters and needle and seat and if i have a stuck needle and seat wat the easiest way to fix that, and i am using a performer intake from edelbrock.

any one hooked up gauges on a late 80 el camino. I am trying to get a new gauge cluster but i dont know were to even start or what kind o should get.

just put a hei distributer on my 305 el camino and i need to find a 12 volt source were should i run that from to the distributer

I misunderstood what u said i thought u meant to keep the stock distributer. Didnt mean to question ur idea. But waht should i do for the coil Do i have to get a new one or can i keep the old one. Thanks Again

i have the softest set of springs in there. I am going to buy the vacuum advance hei distributer

What should i do with the wires going into the distributer just unplug them. And do i have to get a new coil. On summit.com the suggestest a coil with the distributer, do i have to get for it to work right, is it good just to upgrade the old one.

So all i have to do is unplug the computer and get a vacuum advance hei distributer. I dont use the ac any ways so i dont have to worry about that. What would be the next steps. Thanks ALOT Kevin

can i go to autozone and buy a owners manual to find the ecm or is different on every car.

ok That makes sense. If i unplug it it wont mess up with any thing else. If i unplug the computer can i use the distributer on there now. thanks again
