3.8L v6 in my '84, looking for some ideas of things I can do to increase performance. I don't want to swap engines, just make this one badass. They put them in the Grand Nationals so I KNOW it can be done. Lol this is my second GBody, my last was an '81 Mali but I never worked on it. Oh yeah...

Hey, thanks! I took it in for a tuneup today, people said they were unidentify where the leak is stemming from without the bottom of the motor cleaned so, back at square one....where is the timing chain located? I'm pretty mechanically/electronicly inclined, just need a light push in the right...

Its got the 3.8L V6. Car only has 130,000 miles but, has a horrid oil leak. What could it be? I was told that it is a oil pan gasket leak, is that common? He also told me its a pain to change due to the motor needing to be lifted for the procedure, is that correct? Has anyone had this issue...
