No experience with either set up, but going with a street car motive, I want to have exhaust tailpipes over rear axle and exit behind rear wheels like the L-72 equipped mid sixties B-boy cars.     Car came with rear set up as you see it. Former owner had a 9.5 qarter miler here and I am attempting to return it to "street" shape. I cannot believe what they did to the wiring, if you can call it that.

    Bought a "roller" 1979 Malibu 4 months ago and installed a 408 small block and converted to manual 4-speed using Three Pedal kit. Cost a bit but clean conversion. Previously a 9.5 race car and missing stock wiring. No questions yet, just hello.
