    79 Grandam 14x7 trim rings

I believe i found them (one of em anyways). GM part number 10004649. Found an NOS one on line and bought it and it matches up. I didn't fully look up the cross but supposedly for 82 - up Grand prix which makes sense cause that is what looks like the center caps are for that are on this car.

    79 Grandam 14x7 trim rings

Thanks fleming for the offer, but I am going to continue my search. For awhile anyways, I might eventually stumble upon some. I looked up the part number for ralleyIV's but found no real pictures of any yet. Thanks for the info, I will continue to check that one out. I see that Grandamman...

Front & Rear Bumper Trim - 78 Lemans

20 Foot 73 87 91 Chevy GMC Body Side Molding 240" Long, Truck, Silverado, Blazer So is there a "how to" remove and install these front and rear mouldings? I am assuming a hair dryer and careful prodding to get it off. And putting on the new ones especially getting it to stay around the...

    79 Grandam 14x7 trim rings

Rally II(?) style trim rings. My car has a set of rally II's on it that were put on at some point in its life. I believe it originally came wtih snowflake style rims. Anywho, I am having trouble finding the aftermarket's or OEM style, that match this style and especially with the oval valve stem...

    Winshield wiper/washer ???

Ok, so here is a picture (1st pic), that I have of a spare motor and washer pump. I circled the 3 pigtail connections. Is yours like this? This comes from a car with Pulse wipers and yes has wires that you can see Red and Black, but I believe they all do have that. Now, here is something that I...

    Dash emblem

I got one of those in my stash that i took off a Junkyard car years ago as an extra for my Bonny that I ended up selling. If you are interested in it, just as you see it, let me know. Here are some pics. My Bonny was an 84 and i think this came off of an 85.

speakers in the dash of my 1983 grand prix

Unfortunately, the Grand Prixs speakers, on the outer ends of the dash, are integral to the dash and you have to put the speaker in on the under side of the dash which requires that you almost have to fully remove the dash to get to them. The good news is that you can get or create a spacer to...

Any one know where this goes?

I have the same 87 cutlass with a 3.8. I found the same thing sitting there not connected and I couldn't find anywhere that it goes. So I determined that it probably goes to some option or other that I don't have for the car. I have seen a couple of other g-bodies in the junkyard with the same...

    Where can i get these..?

These are hard to come by. I have seen many cutlasses in the junk yards over the years and most of them are missing these also. I snag them when I find them as mine were ALSO missing from my car when I bought it. but sorry I have no extras for sale. These tend to brake off or come loose easily...

WHAT IS THE CORRECT NAME FOR THIS PART?

Technically, it is a backup lens. Now I believe that is not serviced seperately as that WHOLE liceplate assy with those lamps are ONE piece. I don't think that lens is screwed in, I think it is affixed per some adhesive. That tends to happen to these that the adhesive gives way after so many...

    Special Cutlass Taillights?

It is like a mid 80's linclon town car taillamp. It looks like it was hit and they probably just tried experimenting with the quarter panel, as that part close to the lamp has been reworked. You can see they modified the trunk edge also that wraps around the lamp by adding some metal or...

So What Do YOU Suggest I Do?

I am sure you have checked out other forums. One I like to frequent is Moparts.com. Moparts.com are fairly strict in that there is NO politics and NO environmental talk, and anythread that starts to go in that direction, or gets offensive, it gets LOCKED and closed and sometimes deleted...

Everyone here should use these on your wheel cylinders!!!!

Re: Everyone here should use these on your wheel cylinders!! Below is one of the many recalls GM had for this very reason. This doesn't say it here what the exact fix was but I seem to remember there was a sleve of some sort involved, and I think would replace the backing plates with new ones...

Creating blet line "felt strip" moldings

The guy is trying to supply some much needed parts for the hobby and by getting some of our advice ahead of time. I don't see any problem with that. I thought we were trying to support the enterprising spirit here and supporting the small buisnesses. By the way (TOBYP), may I presume you will...

    The Point Is Moot!

x 2. With all the mess we have gone thru, very difficult for anybody to fix this in 4 years, or even 8 years fully. I believe the repubs rating is as low or lower than Obama's so not sure if that is going to get any of them thru. All this socialist fear mongering is rediculous. Jesh, how...
