Ecu has not been determined, current one is a standalone for marine or industrial use. Got a deal on the motor, had to move fast and haven’t had time yet to make too many decisions

Recently picked up an LSA for my 84 Cutlass. Plan is for this to be a driver, automatic, pump gas, cammed, 15-18 lbs of boost. So, I’m wondering, what trans? I’m told 4L80’s are heavy, both physically and rotational weight. I hear 4L65’s are another option?

CHEMICAL STRIPPER!! Saves allot of elbow grease. I use air craft remover and a brush, staying about a half inch away from edges like door or trunk jambs. Unless you plan to strip those too. Once the paint wrinkles, I scrape it down with a body filler spreader. Once dry, then I DA with 80 grit.
