I just finished modifying my Marshall JVM210 not too long ago. I took a mini break from guitar for a bit. Just getting back into it.
I had no such problems installing Lower A-arms in my 78. Both bushings were a tight fit front and back, but then again i went with aftermarket UMI lower A-arms. I dont think it should be loose, maybe the bracket is a little bent?

Be aware posting G bodies with large wheels. some really salty guys in here will just talk smack for no reason.
I managed to get a '95 Thunderbird Fan in the shroud. I cut the fan up and used cage nuts to bolt the fan to the shroud. I like the way it looks and it works great.
I have C5 front calipers with Blazer spindles 17" US Wheels Retros on my MC currently. They barely fit, the fins of the caliper barely clear the wheel haha I had to put a 5mm spacer on the rotor so the spokes wouldn't hit the caliper. Also, be aware of where the wheel weights are. I had a wheel...
I appreciate you posting this, man if i knew that NV3500's were going for under a grand i would've went this route! Possibly in the future, i should definitely grab one while theyre relatively cheap!
