Thank you all for you're help. I took it to a friend this weekend in Dansville that is a mechanic and items a pair if 86 olds cutlass. Come to find it the heater control face was replaced and not allowing the switch to go to the proper position. Replaced the face and heater works great :-)

My windshield washer fluid stopped working. I replaced the pump. In doing so however I broke a nozzle under the hood for the windsheild. My local store does not carry a replacement.
