So I passed state inspection then had the front lower trim fell off and got ran over that's about my luck. Just have to do the front right coil did left last night. Went with the moog 5660 ill have to get some rear springs next

Hood fits! Going to get it registered and insured today or tomorrow

Well it's alive. I'll be installing the exhaust system today.

Yeah I'll be throwing a different air cleaner on it before it's ready to be fired up. Going to get something low profile.

Yeah it's that or cutting hood support or maybe a cowl. Idk I've made more progress on this in three months than a 79 trans am in 3 years

I ordered a iceman crossmember should be here any day now. Put the motor in today. The T/A and cutlass must have different alternator brackets that's the next thing to work out. Long day time to enjoy some beers

Dude at jegs was adamant that it wouldn't fit without modifying it. Idk might try it or look at other options

So I'm hopefully going to have some time to get the motor and trans in. I'm trying to figure out a crossmember for a th400 jegs makes one but they claim it will not fit my car theirs is only $120

Update the second pair I ordered are going to work. The first set that didn't work were by DEA part #A2328 the second set were by SKP part#SKP2328. Hopefully this will help someone out down the road

I think I may have found some mounts on rock auto the walls on the mounts look higher in the photos. Idk I screwed up and can not find my sbo right side frame pad. The minute I pay someone for one I'll find it but does anyone have one for sale before I post a wanted ad?
