You can usually replace the TPS without making an adjustment. The adjustment procedure is usually found in the Emmission section of the manual. Check out code 21.

There is an emission valve called the canister purge valve. It is a vacuum controlled valve and when it starts to go bad can cause hesitation at speeds around 40 MPH. When it completely goes bad, you will have terrible fuel mileage and black smoke at idle. The loose hose you found looks like it...

Does anyone know the significance of the Last Edition 1988 Cutlass Classic? I have seen one or two of these cars and wondered if they were special production models with special options.

Can anyone help me out with information on springs? My Cutlass came with the F41 Suspension. I always thought that option included heavy duty springs, a larger front sway bar and a rear sway bar. I am going to replace and upgrade the shock absorbers and was considering replacing the springs as...
