cleaned up, all new gaskets, new timing chain, oil pump, comp XFI XE-R cam kit, Gm muscle car oil pan, adjustable ls swap mounts, 80mm throttle body

I picked up a 6.0 LS motor for the el camino a few months back & i also picked up some 22" 3 piece rims

i checked the lift by marking the push rod's with a white pen when its open & closed and on the #1 cyl the exhaust opens more than the intake does.. and i checked the next cylinder an they both open & close at the same markings

If a lobe got wiped off the cam wouldnt a lifter be cupped to?

Yes because the higher i rev it the louder it gets
