Proper Burn Out 200r4 Trans

Trans is rebuild with all the goodies. Shift kit and manual valve body. If he puts it in drive it will shift 1 2 and into 3rd and run out of power. It hard to get some wheel speed up. Is it best to put it in 2nd and let it shift 1 in 2 and stay there untill it smokes more.
 
Doesn't sound like a manual valve body to me, it sounds like "manual holding of any gear until *** RPM". With a manual VB if you put the stick in D then you'd be in 3rd gear, it wouldn't operate like a regular OD transmission. If he can't spin 'em in 3rd then don't use 3rd, keep it in 2nd but drive out of the hole easy.

Thanks for all the help with other trans. I have uses them all in different race applications. What I wanted to know is the proper burn out with the 200r4. Wanted to know is how all other people do it in there bracket cars.

They do it exactly as outlined in the articles above- the procedure is the same.
