I finally got my car running the other day but I noticed some popping through the carb and rough idling. I set my timing to 15 deg BTDC and dropped in my distributor with the rotor pointing the opposite direction of cylinder 1. Is this correct? I only did this because the diagram I followed in the book as pictured below:
I havent removed the distributor yet to point it at the #1 cylinder, wanted to get more info before I do. Also it seems that when my 4 wire computer harness to my distributor is connected, my engine runs less rough.
