After careful consideration I have decided to have my CZF MCSS trans rebuilt/built. I'm looking for member recommendations on a builder in the Southeast that's reliable, knowledgeable, and most of all honest.
Thanks to all here on G-Body forum for all the great information you have given me over these last few years I am truly grateful.

Do you have the facebooks?

Join the '2004r nerds' page. I'm sure there's an answer there.

Cruz performance is in Tampa, probably could call him and see who he uses or could recommend. Most 2004r shops are turbo buick specialists.

Got to check to see if Cruz is still even there first. Recall Helene and Milton really tore up that area down there.

Extreme Automatics, don't bother with anyone else, I have 3 of their transmissions...

So after calling around quite a bit speaking with different builders I have decided to go with Dave Husek of Turbo Buick Performance.
We spoke for over a half an hour on the phone and he has convinced me that I can build this trans myself.(It's my first 200 but not my first rebuild ) I will be shipping him a good portion of the hard parts for modification including the valve body and the governor. Extreme Automatics would have been my second choice as Dave mentioned to me he used to buy parts from them and helped them in their development of 2004R parts. As always thanks to everybody for their support and advice as I truly appreciate it.

This should be helpful for others in the future. Please follow-up when you're farther along in the process.

Thanks Scoti, I'll start a build thread here when I'm ready to start disassembly.
Jimmy,
I'd also be interested in your progress. I've heard a lot of positive feedback about Dave.
