old school for the old guys

There's some cool sh*t in there...

Okay, that last picture does have me intrigued. A dual quad but.......................for what? SBC, maybe but also maybe Mopar? Not Ford. The water neck faces up, not out. and the boss for the timer is at the back, which is a characteristic of some Mopars too.

Any guesses or thoughts here? Provenance? Lots More Pictures of more items?!?!?!

I see a couple of Pontiac intake manifolds there. The one in front of the tunnel ram looks like a very old model from the 326/389/421 years. Very low profile. The one next to the ram is Q-jet years. Probably Edelbrock but can't tell if it is a Performer or Performer RPM.

It looks to be an early dual quad for the old Rochesters. Possible an OE for a SBC.

When they did the interview with Junior Johnson so many years ago, on the wall behind him was a pair/set of those intakes. I can't recall if they were an item for discussion along the way or just eye candy. They did look well used and it was always rumored that the man (RIP) did have a side enterprise that involved liquor logistics but, again, that was many decades ago.

The caption says it's a 67 mill but i think the original application goes back into the late 50's, maybe around 57/58 with them being an option for the big Dodges and Chryslers. You'd seriously need some dude that is a freak for Mopars and heavy into the whole history bit to actually say yea/nay on the matter.
