I believe the PCM controlled lockup in the 83 and 84 SS ( and other cars/trucks the 350c was used in ). When ditching the PCM and CCC you go direct to the lockup switch on the trans ( like to 200r ). Wire hot side to a switch of your choice, ground the other terminal.
