CUTLASS Where to get thick jute padding?

I have the carpet out and looking to put something down on the metal floor that will help with noise reduction. Is Jute the way to go? Originally I was going to go with a CLD like an amazon basics sound deadening mat, but I am reading CLD doesn't help much with reducing noise.

I haven't tried any of them but there are products that could outperform jute if $$ isn't a factor. With it being a specialty type product the prices keep many from experimenting but I'm sure a few mobile audio forums would lead to good info.

Whatever you do, clean and paint your floor very well and don't glue the jute padding directly to it. Both of these will help prevent future rust.

Here are a few pics. I am super happy with it thus far. It is nice and dense. I have not even unrolled it yet as have been too busy. Measures about 3/8ths thick and really doesn't compress down much. Ships as you see in a big roll (I cut the plastic wrap off the top to measure how dense it was and see it lol) I hope to in the next couple weeks get it installed. I will continue with pics and info on it during the install in my interior refresh thread. If I find anything specific to the jute that needs shared for knowledge...will for sure post here. Thanks again for the patience fellas.

Nice
Will you line the entire floor, or just the front passenger and driver floor area? It should make an improvement with noise.
