Hey everyone. Cool forum. Can’t wait to read all the threads. Anyway just picked up my new to me 1986 Monte Carlo SS. Currently has 54,000 miles. It’s very new to me, so I don’t have many good pictures yet. It has original 305 with a mild cam, engine dress up with chrome valve covers, air cleaner etc., new retro sound radio, and newer pioneer speakers. Purchased out of Chicago at MGM Classic cars. Carfax says car is from South Carolina, so appears to be rust free. Was painted within the last year. Few issues to work out (hvac system blows out off defrost and floor only, suspecting vacuum, temperature gauge not working, and my clothes smell like exhaust/gas after I drive it. Looking forward to getting my hands dirty.
