Haven’t posted a ton lately. Getting my factory 4 speed 79 malibu wagon road worthy again kind of spiraled out of control and I pretty much tore the whole car apart but didn’t do a build thread. Just curious to know what you guys think. I’d like to be around 330hp at the wheels but I’m not sure. I’d love to go 12.99 at the track just once but I don’t think it has it in it. It’s just a .030 over 350 and I’ve included the cam specs for the cam that was put in the car back in around 2002. Victor jr intake, Holley 650 double pumper, and I decided to get rid of the SR torquer heads and replace them with 195cc AFR eliminators while I had it all apart. It’s a hydraulic flat tappet cam so I’m hoping that since it’s 20 years old the lifter quality isn’t garbage like the newer ones are. Reused the 1.5 roller rockers I had since the springs would’ve been at the limit if I went to 1.6. Think it has 320-330 in it?

Cleaning up some wiring for my electric fans. All I’m waiting on is to get my brand new transmission back from the guy that’s had it for 2 months because of course it’s leaking at the mid plate with 0 run time on it. The 1 year warranty was up and I was told sorry about your luck by the manufacturer. The car is starting to wear on me but hopefully soon it’ll be running again.
