    I will be there with the Mid Atlantic Grand National Association at least Saturday and Sunday. Staying at the newer Holiday Inn again this year. Avoid the Days Inn. Stayed there in 2013 and it was terrible.

    Grand National Horsepower Rating

    A stone stock GN will make just over 200whp. I know PAS had a TTA 3.8 on an engine dyno back in 1989 and made 300hp and those made 15-16psi stock vs the GN's 14psi. So 270-300hp is realistic.

    Actually sold the Z back in April. Owned it 6 years but was starting falling apart and was killing me on gas driving 100 miles a day. Bought a Chevy Cruze turbo and the amout I save in fuel alone is paying for the car. First time it snows this winter I'm gonna miss it :( .

    87 turbo regal cali emissions

    As far as I know the only difference is the chip. Eric at TurboTweak can burn you an emissions chip that you would plug in right before the test. That chip is not meant for any kind of boost.

    84 t type question?

    84 T-Type only came with the turbo V6 (87 the T package could be had on a 307 car). They all should have come with the 8.5in 10 bolt rear. Open diff was standard, posi was a $100 option.

    t-type differential question

    Like said above, it was always an option on T-Types but std on the GN in late 87. I know someone local with 2 86 GN's that must have come from the south. Both are open rears and both have no rear window defroster.

    My 1987 Turbo T Build

    Its hard to find someone to do Turbo Buick engine work, and 200R4's properly. After having my trans out about 7 times for various reasons, I was told my trans, converter, and driveshaft are good for 700ft lbs or so. It can be done, but will probably cost you $2500-$3000.

    Made my first ever passes down a drag strip today during the East Coast Buick Regionals. All things considered I think it went ok. Didn't brake anything and had a good time. Thanks to my buddy Randy Asbury for being my videographer and giving me helpful tips all day . Still on the safe street...
