Laying out my new trim installation project. Today i think i can get the shop warm enough to finish my vinyl trim replacement. Rebuilding AC this spring

more than likely not, i may be a while before the LS swap. 2.5 is good with me though, that is why i am asking, i am not so familiar with how to make these older motors sound good. I have had plenty of header and glasspacks/turbo muffler projects, but i am too old now, i want rumble, like the... -
Rebuilding AC this spring
I plan on using Rockauto for all my rebuild parts. Any do's? Any Don't's? I have all the tools and know how to do this, and the system has already been recovered. i am just looking for advice. Thanks- Zeus1978

Thoughts or input on thinning 25 year old oil before an oil change.
I have done this as well on old tractor engines to get them cleaned up. Not sure how it will work with driving it. I have always just let them run, and changed the oil every 10-15 minutes for the first hour until the oil that is changed is clean when you drain it. I also changed the filter...- Zeus1978

shorty headers, or long ones? Is 2.5" with a good turbo muffler??? i have also seen glasspacks right after the headers then pipe, into turbo mufflers, and turned out, has any one done anything like that. I don't have emissions so i don't need CATS. -

With the current 305 and 2 barrel rochester, performance is not an issue, as in, only an LS will help it out. i am more concerned with sound for now. I am looking to approve the cruise ability for now. I have dynomax on my suburban, and i do think they sound great,
