If I could find an adapter ( or group of adapters) I'd go this route.
Need to find 9/16" - 18 female inverted flare x 3/8" - 24 inverted flare (female or male)
I've got my hands on a 9/16" - 18 Male inverted flare x 3/8" - 24 female inverted flare....just need to find a 9/16" - 18 Inverted...
For anyone that's done this change over, am looking for some help.
In the process of installing a Wilwood set up which uses all 3/16" brake lines (3/8"-24 inverted flare) .
Since I have removed the factory brake proportioning valve , what do I do with the large 1/4" rear brake line (9/16" - 18...
Fabricated up an aluminum bracket to mount my PSC Power Steering Reservoir. Now I can fit my stainless steel lines / AN fittings for my Tallon Hydraulics Hydro Boost brake system. Just have to send these out for powder coating and we will be in business!
Oh forgot to mention I had to use the factory Regal (G Body) brake hose mounting brackets as the straight brake hose support bracket from the Blazer allowed wheel / tire contact at full steering lock
I’ve got mine attaching the calipers at about a 45 deg downward angle from being parallel to ground if that makes sense. Had a helluva time getting my copper compression washers to seal though. Finally ended up installing some Earl’s Stat-O-Seal crush washers. Fingers crossed ( haven’t bled the...
Wanted to clean up the clutter of hoses under the hood on my Turbo Buick & finally got around to installing my Vacuum Delete Kit from Don Cruz & at the same time installed my 65mm Hemco Plenum.
I got mine from Kirban Performance.
It's a reproduction unit, however it's brand new so no worries about worn out parts

While you're at it, here's the GM steering shaft to order...
I've got the Motive power bleeder and the 1115 large GM adapter.
Works great, just gotta be sure you've got it clamped down with some extra C clamps or it's gonna leak under pressure and spray down your firewall with brake fluid! Ask me how I know. LOL
I've done the same S-10 2WD Blazer spindle and brake swap on my G body, but have UMI tubular upper & lower A Arms.
Car is not back on the road yet....wondering if the UMI tubular A Arms will give me more clearance so this issue can be avoided?
Anyone?
thanks
dave
FYI....Kirban Performance offers a great hd headlight wiring harness with dual relays that works great!
It's a direct plug N play installation. Should be a good fix to ensure you are protecting your switches and ensures proper and full voltage to your headlights
Here's a link...
JW Speaker LED projectors for the Win!
True Plug N Play, no wiring harness or extra relays required
No glare for oncoming drivers .
Nice cut off with wide illumination.
Here's some pics of the JW Speaker LED Projectors....LOW BEAM
You gotta see how the Hi's illuminate!
Grote also have a nice...
Be sure to get Hella 4"x6" "E" code headlights. H4's (for Low Beams) and their H1's (for Hi Beams) as the two have different crystal patterns to throw the proper cut off and illumination.
Installing aluminum brake drums will get you a little more clearance vs the cast iron drums as they will act like a small spacer, believe these will give you an additional 1/4" frame clearance...
Hey Jimmy, can you tell us more about the adjustable proportioning valve. Looks interesting. Kinda appears to be very similar to the original factory unit and mount in same manner . Brake lines in and out seem to be the same too. Is it a bolt on deal? Curious What brand & part number?
No need to lift the body to change those two(passenger and drivers side) front brake lines. I just did this using replacement front steel lines from in line tube. Wasn't too bad working under the car on jack stands on my back!
FYI, for anyone needing to do some double flaring of 3/16" steel brake lines while on the car.......I found a great tool that just simply works.
This thing is way better than those crappy flaring tool sets you can borrow from the auto parts store...
Window Turbo from Pro Race Engineering will fix your problem. It's plug N play.
Fixed mine and is easy peasy to install

Send it back to Auburn. Only they can rebuild em!
I've had an Auburn Pro Series in my Buick Grand National for over 8 years & no problems. Had to replace my factory Posi unit which was toast. I too was initially leary about not being able to rebuild it, but was told (and later confirmed in...
