    Refurbishing 78 leather bucket seats

    Guys, just picked up '78 4-speed.. Leather is in fine condition, just needing a cleaning/new die maybe done. Foam is shot... Roughly how much would I have to pay a pro to re-do these? How hard is this to do for a newbie? Thanks

    '78 Monte Carlo factory 4-speed production #'s?

    so today i called GM and spoke with their history/information dept. gave them my vin#, a while later found out that there were 216,730 Monte Carlo's produced that year with 1,719 being 4-speeds. the number was 800-222-1020.. very nice person helped and also emailed me this info as well..

    Guys, finally found one that I'm buying this week... I've been searching hard to find out exact production #'s of these, which I know is low.. Anyone with any idea/knowledge to doing so? I've searched forums, chevy by the numbers, articles-can find any data... Thanks for any suggestions

    '78 monte aftermarket disk brakes

    Guys, deciding on whether I'm keeping 15" rally's for the raised letters old school look, or going with 17" rally's... Either way, any recs on aftermarket setup? Have Baer on my chevelle... Many of these companies don't sell this car specific set-up, like the chevelles, camaros etc...

    Rim/tire size recommendations '78 MC

    Ok, thanks.... I understand the 15's somewhat going away, but I like that retro 70/80's look a lot.. I've got 18's and 17's on my chevelle.... My turning radius sucks... Also like the white letters on the 15's.... Hope that retro look kinda returns, this won't be a road track ride anyway... Thx

    Rim/tire size recommendations '78 MC

    Guys, new here. Buying a 78, needs tires so I'm thinking classic rally's w bfg ta's... Thinking 15x8 rear, 15x7 front. Question, how wide a tire back and front to really have the filled out wheel well look and not have rubbing/turning issues? Backspace advice also, thanks
