    Monte LS pic request

While you are at it ..... paint your window trim, door handles, lock cylinders......etc. with SEM semi gloss black......or find monte ss pieces. IMO....on these cars, the more chrome you remove.... the better they look.

What is the cheapest possible ls swap?

Although we are missing details on your car, transmission, etc....... if I were in your shoes, here is what I would do: Rework your own harness and get a mail order tune. You should be able to get a conservative tune with VATS removed for under $200. Get the ebay ls/sbc motor mount adapters...

    "Grand Nasty"

Occasionally, someone will tell me the would like to buy an 87 rather than an 86 GN because it has 10 additional hp. Truth is ........ that published hp figures for both years understated the actual performance of the car. It was a strategic move to not offend the flagship corvette yet still...

    "Grand Nasty"

86 and 87 GNs were identical with the exception of a couple of cosmetic changes (I assumed you were implying 87 had superior performance to 86 - which is not true). Regardless.....it his car to do what he wants with it.

    "Grand Nasty"

I'm also in the minority on here...... if I were in the owners position where I had deep pockets and I didn't have the ability to build my own car.........as an alternative to buying a new Hellcat or ZR1, I would modify a GN in pretty much the exact same way that he did.

    Recent G-body Prices - WTF?

LOL....... as often as that gets repeated anyone with a casual awareness of g body cars would believe it to be true.

    Recent G-body Prices - WTF?

The last gbody rolled off of the assembly line in Dec 1987. None were manufactured in 1988. There were 88 model year Cutlass and Monte Carlos while the Regal, Grand Prix, and El Camino ended in the 1987 model year.

    Recent G-body Prices - WTF?

Yes....years back I recall seeing gbody production #s...... I believe cutlass was #1 followed by the monte carlo.
