We rotate on-call and it is my turn this week.
Today we were out to get the wife some new shoes for work(our puppy ate her other shoes we bought last week).
Well as we were paying I get a call…followed by two others. Got three calls stacked on each other. So we took a family field trip over to...
I’ll take some pics tomorrow but I finally got around to swapping that passenger window motor. Still trying to get over the “C word”. It’s mostly been fatigue and nausea so it’s made it difficult to stay out in the heat.
Removed the seats to finish adding the kilmat and install the carpet.
As always snowball effect has kicked in.
In an effort to help my hot start issue. I’m going put a DEI starter heat shield, with the interior apart I’m going to run some 4-0 welding cable to the starter. Also plan to run some...
I watched OLDSofb (hutch)'s videos and I remember he had to mod and add some stuff that wasn't right. I going to rewatch his videos again.

So in my imaginary quest of making this "race car" into some sort of daily friendly concoction. I want to install all the A/c stuff back in. When I got the car the PO had already pulled everything out. I have yet to pull the dash and see what was left down there but it looks like nothing was...
I like to put a hose from the bleeder into water bottle with fresh fluid inside so that it cant suck any air back up. I've bled all my cars alone and seem to have had good luck like that.
Mine just came in today. I plan to cut at least half a coil off the rip. I had them on the my El Camino(which I cut half a coil), I'll post pics in little bit.
I have UMI's older arms but I'm not sure what ball joints are on it, I'm sure its just regular ones.
While I love how low the front...
Dorman window motor for the pass window.
5660 coils.
Also picked this up. I’ve always wanted to do a push button start on the car and I like the idea of passive keyless entry. It cheap and have seen some okay reviews on it.
Push bottom PKE kit.
I know I’m going to get asked about the column, I...
Sorry to her that man.
A couple weeks ago we went back down to FL to visit family. While we were there my mom felt an awkward pain in her ribs. She went to get looked at and turned out she also had ALL. She finished her first round of Chemo last week and finally got to go home. We are waiting on...
That was exactly it! Thank you! I really didn’t want to pull the dash yet! I’m trying to get parts together and leave all the big projects for winter like the dash and re-sealing and installing the A/c box at the same time.
I just wanna drive around as much as I can till then.
Yesterday I tried to diagnose my no brake like issue. I have yet to look at diagrams so I mainly just checked the switch. Check for power to the switch and such. Pedal switch seems to be working as it should. I have power to the switch. The lights turn on when I turn the city lights on but not...
I was finally able to go pick these up. I was able to grab them up for $100 just need to order the brackets and rotors. I will have the stock hubs turned at a local machine shop.
Took it out to the barber shop then to work.
the barber shop is old gas station so it pretty cool my barber is also into the old stuff.
to today I put about 60 miles on.
I keep having issue with my brake lights not coming on and also developed a whine as I was getting home. Sounded like the...
I have a ton of different steel ones. And I would always get frustrated when I tried to use them on aluminum. It wasn’t till a few later that one of dad’s buddy showed me the aluminum bits. They really do have their place!
Removed the header panel. Pulled the front bumper out some. It took a hit while in storage and collapsed the driver bumper shock.
I feel like ordering a tubular rad support and aluminum bumper mounts. Also turns out I have the aluminum inner Structure.
Oh yea and I also played with the Holley...
