Not quite sure how this happened..
I was recently “diagnosed “ with adhd. Meds kind of do this to me. The rust in the trunk channel seems to have started from failed seam sealer. Going to clean all the old stuff off and redo most of it. At least the rust isn’t has bad as I expected.
Couldn't say it any better. I won't lie even with my car that I have been building and daily drove for a long, I wish I would have started with a complete unmolested car.
So many little things that missing or broken that I feel like I'm spending more time and money that could've been used...
Tarp held up good. Haven’t had a chance to pull it and look under.
Surge came and left quick. Went to bed around 11ish PM right after loosing power. There was no flooding. Woke up around 7ish AM and there was no flooding but you can see the water made it right up to the car.
Cell service is...
We are on the south side of it. We’re pretty close to the water, surrounded by gulf access canals at that. This area hasn’t gotten much flooding before.
It’s been very windy but little rain so far.
Yesterday I put a tarp over it. Somewhat getting ready for our second week of hurricanes. Mainly just trying to mitigate the water coming in.
I did spray some water on to see where it was coming from. Unfortunately it wasn’t from the glass. Looks like I have some metal work to do before I start...
The only issues I had were self-inflicted. I am running Speed Engineering Headers with a Jegs crossmember.
Once I put in the twins I plan to just run each 3" down pipe to the Holley exhaust.
I don't think they do. I've tried to get one of the front sections that I mess up and they wouldn't sell it alone.
I can tell you some of the people I know with this exhaust have swapped out the mufflers to quiet it down a bit.
Got a little carried away today..
Started with prepping to put the firewall unit in..Then spiraled out of control..
Ended pulling the whole interior out. My back glass is leaking pretty bad, you see the puddle on the driver side rear. Carpet was soaked. Pulled and washed it. Figured I might as...
Figured out a way to have the fans come on without burning up another input on the holley.
This relay is a dual output with three triggers. One for each output and the third signals both to turn on.
I will have the Holley control each fan with the trinary switch controlling both fans to come...
Did some more Vintage stuff. Couple vent things and assembled the firewall unit. I’m really hoping to install it in the car tomorrow. Fingers crossed we get some decent weather. Our post hurricane weather was real nice but I spent more of the day catching up on the calls that was missed...
My Cutlass was a vinyl top deal. I'm going to be resealing the back within the next week. While the glass is out I want to add the studs for the window trim clips.
I have two questions any chance someone here have measurements of the spacing between them and if any of you have this have you had...
I’ve been trying to do a little bit everyday.
Still working on figuring out some mystery plugs in the dash harness ,the service books I have are kind of weird.
Either way all the Vintage Air stuff came in, I’ve been slowly working on that.
I installed the ICT compressor bracket along with...
