Thanks Donovan, I’m happy with it! It really is like being a 17 year old kid again, just fun to be back in that car after all these years. 👍 Still have some things to tend to and started a punch list for this winter, but nothing that will lay the car up for long. Outer window sweeps
Lower on the interior door, with the door panel off, there is a bolt with a bracket inside the door that limits how far the window will drop. Loosen it and lower the window just enough to access the screws to the sweeps.- old80cs

Picked up the car at 3pm at the alignment shop, it drives very nice now and my wife and I went for our first ride together, it was apart when we met back in 1991. I took my car for a drive yesterday for the first time in 33 years. In spite of the time passed it felt very familiar and I enjoyed the short drive down the back roads in town. An arm on the sill, one hand on the wheel and listened to my tail pipes….was terrific! It still needs a front end...- old80cs

Just got the car appraised for the insurance policy, should have the report by Wednesday next week. Plan to register the car on Thursday afternoon and get it to the alignment shop on Friday morning. Got in some hours on the car today, creeping slowly toward the finish line. Got the new VDO gauges and pod installed, grills and headlight surrounds in place and the radio is in. Got the fiberglass reproduction rear bumper fillers painted and installed over the last week. They fit pretty well with not a ton of fussing with. The new / used bumper from Nevada is rust free but the chrome is weathered and nowhere near perfect but it is at least straight, presentable and a...- old80cs
