We also see this daily being in the parts business, we have two counter guys who were techs in the past so we constantly get people coming in for free information. Also we get asked what we think the problem may be so we give our suggestion then the customer goes and does what he wants anyway...- hayabrusa

Fluid Film
Fluid Film is a great product, actually not made as a penetrating fluid but more as a rust protector. I personally like to use Sea Foam deep creep for penetrating fluid. both great products!- hayabrusa

depending on the area the local parts store needs to protect the larger garages, you wouldn't want to jeopardize 2-3 hundred thousand dollar account for a guy who at the most may spend a grand a year. We are in a high retail area so our pricing is more focused to the DIY guy than the same...- hayabrusa

While i can agree that Amazon can help with odd items that you are not able to find locally i disagree with purchasing from them to save a few bucks when you could support a local company. I personally would rather pay a premium to know that i am supporting locall business's and their staff so... -

TIRED Of Dealing With People Selling Items
Kijiji is just as bad, I just am unable to understand how people can throw offers at you without even looking at the item. Once in a while i will accept the offer just to see if they show up but they never do. My way of dealing with it is not to sell anything....:LOL: -

BROWN BRAKE DUST NEVER HAD BEFORE
We carry a ADO pad at napa, it is a cross between Ceramic and Semi metallic. The pads are labelled as they have a inner and outer, with this set up you have the least dusting of the ceramic pads but the feel of the semi metallic pads that we all enjoy on the pedal.- hayabrusa
