    For sale - questionable miles

I sent the guy a head's up on his auction. He has a good selling record, i guess it's possible he's not aware. We'll see if he does anything. EDIT - Dude responded to me with a picture of the title from 1995, clearly showing the odo as 093,***. He thinks that means 93XX.X. I tried.

    Space City 1982 GP Build

Hey Jared, the Monte is doing great. The outside is still ugly, but the inside is nearly finished. It's so reliable that it gets shunned for others that need work! Thanks for asking! Hey Ken! Long time since I've heard from you. How's the Monte running? They are fun boxes. Thanks everyone...

    SUMMIT RACING %$^%@ !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had complained about them in a thread here a few months ago, but I've ordered a couple of times since and they were flawless. I guess they were just having a bad day that time.

My recent negative Summit Racing experience

Summit is definitely changing. I had a credit on one of my charge cards, so I decided to treat myself to some goodies, specifically a Vintage Air heater unit for my El Camino project. Popped onto the website, added to cart, checkout, oh, wait, the billing address is wrong. Tried to change it...

I was wondering if you were going the flush route on the front as well. That's going to be a great update!

    1981 Monte Carlo project

Nice! Nothing personal, but that dash was giving me nightmares. While you have the dash out, you should pick up one of the vacuformed dash covers. They look really good. Keep at it!

Help with out of state purchase and hauling

I bought my Monte off Ebay sight unseen. Sent a certified check, got the title in FedEx the next day. Used a small, private hauler that I paid in cash when I got the car. For me, everything went perfect and the car was better than I expected it to be. BUT... I was prepared to lose it all...

BUILD THREAD '79 Monte Carlo body-off restoration NL

Very nice start! I use you r technique when doing a project as well, and assembly goes so much faster. For my B-pillar trim, I bought a gray set off another member, and dyed them light blue with the paint Dixie offers. I used several coats, since it's in an area that is easy to scratch. Check...

79 Monte Carlo Turn Signal Lever Help

Very nice 79! I had a 78 in that color many years ago, and next to the light blue of my current 79, it's my favorite!

Putting the truck in there really shows the size. That extra width will be really nice when working around those long doors.
