    Not sure about production numbers, but I had an original 305/4 speed 78 Monte Carlo way back when. I think all the 4 speeds I've seen in person have been V8s.

    Jared deserves a special shout out for being our chase/rescue vehicle for the cruise. No one broke down, but f we had, I'm sure whatever we needed was in the back of his truck. (Which was a slick machine on its own.) It was nice to see that GMC security blanket in the rear view mirror!

    What do you do for a living?

    Car dealer rat. I sold and managed at Volvo stores in DFW for years. Decided to "retire" when I moved to Oklahoma and went into the parts department. Been doing that for 11 years now. (I afford my G-Body habit by marrying well!)
