Figure on fully enclosing bottom with sheet metal angling from outer edge to slipping into gap between glass & roof so glass trim won't be needed.. Here 's a few pics of possible rough arrangement of reused tri-y collectors for 180 headers. I think all 8 flat in a row may look best. Gonna do more hood vents anyways, thinking about a functional version of the 80's iroc hood vents if not having the entire center be louvers..- jlcustomz

Option 2 would be running up sides , similar to turbo headers, then wrapping around front and merges pointing down , then existing pass side. This would involve moving radiators forwards at least 4 ". Headers could start out with routing similar to the NRE stainless headers pictured to help...- jlcustomz

I understand you pair the cylinders firing 180 degrees to get the sound. I'm doing 8-4-2-1 merges. LS1 firing order 18726543, I pair 1-6, then 7-4 , which then merge together. Got a little more info from a desert racing forum. Supposedly the 8 into 1 merges loose a little torque & a properly configured 180 setup, especially with my tri-y type 2 into 1 collector setups, can give the same sound. confirmed the correct sequence to run the pipes.
