Speakers won't fit in door 87 elco
It comes down to the shallower speakers more than likely won't be as good as what ya got now. You buy nice speakers for sound, I'd space them out You could buy or make spacers from 3/4" mdf. -
finding a leak
I've had a small ps leak on my hydroboost equipped LS swap for years. Clean as I keep it & as open as the area is, I can see it's a hose & not pump or steering box. As good of a spray degreasing & pressure washing you can do definitely helps, so you can see what's fresh. Now for my ac...- jlcustomz

Engine Stalling after 10-20 of driving
Ignition coil going bad can sometimes cause similar issues, though most likely issues such as internals of rubber line near pump going bad or failing pump. Haven't had time to work on in over a month, recently pulled out to look at all the new mocked up changes. Seeing your car again for the first time
My wife was driving a 7 year old 83 cutlass at age 28 when I met her. Enjoyed watching her walk away too in those days.:rolleyes: Many of us spend so much time up close on our projects, walking away from it in a parking lot is the only time we get to see what everyone else sees.- jlcustomz

If talking about swapping an entire system, mounting a different ac compressor will be the least difficult part. Got factory hb on the 83 elky, little extra hose mess , also like the pedal feel. Hb is usually an upgrade both factory & aftermarket. Not sure about the electric change, but factories many time change something that is proven to work for something that may not be as good.- jlcustomz

What's your favorite degreaser?
Growing up even us kids got washed with gas sometimes, has it's place. Recently found out purple power is pretty much same stuff as bleach white, but much cheaper in volume. Depends what stock is. My LS1 6 speed I put in in 2002' is still all internally stock & it's pretty ok for just cruising, whether in a straight line or sideways with the rear tires crying like a little girlie. Would be much better internally modified...- jlcustomz
