I remember peeling and sanding paint on an ss frnt cover what a pain in the *ss...lol, then i found out new bumpers were 200 bucks (in the early 90's) and bought new covers and sold old ones for more than a new 1...lol.

I have seen these cars in ontario. Seen 1 in about 1990 in a guys garage . His kid was killed in it after hitting a pole or tree. I think it was called a 3+3 and it came from the factory with the rubber nose and the tapered back window like an monte ss aerocoupe .

84 ss monte's iv had only had 3;42 7.5 in them...trunk sticker says gu6 for this rearend and gears ...from what i can remember only 1987 SS monte's ever had 8.5 rearends with only 3;73....and from all the montes iv had iv never had an 8.5 ....yet.

I live near this guy in woodstock ont who makes these frfame rails.. there pretty good ones iv heard. I myself use to change these rotten frame rails and the yrs are not all the same even in the mid to late 80's. You should get good used frame end cuts from exact yr you have iv learned , saves...
